I’m happy to review products if I think it’s something that I think my readers would like to hear about.  They’ll be written by me when a brand or PR company has sent a product to me in exchange for a review. The review will be honest, even if there’s an aspect of the product I don’t like. I will tell you about it because I believe if it’s something a consumer should know ahead of buying it themselves I’ll mention it. I’ll  include appropriate links to the brand’s own website, or an online retailer, alongside  a full review of the product with  photographs that either I have taken, or that have been supplied. It’ll be clear in the text that I’ve received the product in exchange for the review. I often review things I’ve bought and loved so you will know when I have paid for something too.  It may be that I have also been compensated for my time in connection with the review, but this will in no way alter my opinions.

Advertorials/Featured Posts

I may be asked, and paid, to host content that has been written and provided by a brand or PR company.  I reserve the right to change the wording slightly if I feel appropriate to do so, but such posts are not something I’ve written, but that I’m publishing in exchange for a cash payment.  It may say it is in “collaboration with” or “in partnership with” or “this is an advertorial”  but it will be clear to you, the reader, that this is an advertorial, not written by me.

Sponsored posts

These are posts that I have been paid to write and publish on my blog.  I will only do this with content I believe in and that I feel fits in well with this blog.  This is not a review, I have not been sent a product, but it may talk about a product, or a company or services, often with a link to their website.  Such posts may say “in collaboration”,  “sponsored” or “in partnership with”.  For these posts I will have been paid money or given vouchers in exchange for the post and have not been given a product.

Guest posts

These are written by fellow bloggers, and have either been written because I asked them to guest post on my blog, or because they asked me if they could.  No financial exchange has been made for these posts.

Ambassador Roles

As a GRRRL ambassador I’m compensated when a purchase is made using my referral link and discount code. It means I am likely to be mentioning them online, in blog posts, and social media throughout the year.
